Product Overview

Handwoven Beige pure Cotton Jamdani Saree with Hand-Woven Floral Pallu and Pearl embroidery Border

Experience the timeless grace of royal heritage combined with modern elegance. This exquisite Jamdani saree is hand-woven in a soothing Beige shade using a FINE Count cotton that ensures a smooth, drape, this saree features the iconic Jamdani supplementary weft technique. Delicate geometric motifs (butis) are woven directly into the fabric across the body, culminating in a stunning, vibrant floral tree-of-life inspired design on the pallu. Finished with a striking crimson red border adorned with meticulous pearl, flower sequins and lace detailing, this piece is a masterpiece of patience, precision, and artisanal love.

Craftsmanship

Jamdani
Unlike printed or embroidered sarees, the floral patterns on this saree are woven directly into the fabric while it is still on the handloom. The weaver uses fine bamboo sticks to lift individual warp threads and interlace the colored threads by hand.

Dedicated Craftsmanship
Due to the complexity of the Jamdani weave, it takes approximately 2 to 3 weeks of dedicated, highly skilled craftsmanship to complete a single piece.

Finishing Details
Every tiny geometric buti on the body and the intricate lace attachment on the border require hours of uncompromised focus. The delicate pearl and glass bead tassels hanging from the pallu edge are hand-knotted individually to give the saree a perfect, graceful sway.

Inspiration

This Jamdani saree draws its inspiration from the "Tree of Life" and the vivid colors of a blooming Indian spring. The beige tone represents the grounding element of the earth, while the hand-woven vines spreading across the pallu symbolize growth, prosperity, and the joy of nature. The inclusion of bright ochre yellow, soft tangerine orange, and sage green threads captures the essence of fresh blossoms. Every single motif is woven using the slow, traditional "discontinuous weft" technique—where the weaver treats the loom like a canvas, creating art thread by thread to celebrate the heritage of slow fashion.
